Land Title and Survey Authority (LTSA) Electronic Services
The Land Title and Survey Authority (LTSA) maintains British Columbia's official legal record of private property ownership which contains legal title information about property in British Columbia. This includes:
- Registered owner(s) names
- Historical title information (back to the date when information was first computerized)
- Reference codes that identify any encumbrances that are contained on the search
- Details of encumbrances such as mortgages and easements
You can search land titles by parcel identification number, legal description, owner name, charge number or title number. In addition, plan and document images can be downloaded to your computer. You can find information about the LTSA's Search Services below:
In addition to searching information, the LTSA's Electronic Filing System (EFS) allows authorized customers such as lawyers, notaries, registry agents, conveyancers and land surveyors to electronically submit documents to the LTSA through BC OnLine. You can find information about EFS at the links below:
Please note: In June 2011, the LTSA introduced enhancements to its Electronic Services. The default Land Title and Survey site available on BC OnLine was replaced by the new enhanced site as of September 18, 2011. The above resources support use of the new enhanced site.
