Corporate Registry Fee Increases

Effective July 14, 2003 selected Corporate Registry fees will be increased to offset the cost of the new Business Number Initiative. The Business Number Initiative is an innovative project that will allow British Columbians to do business with multiple levels of government using one common business identifier: the federal Business Number.

In keeping with the provincial New Era commitment to reduce red tape, this initiative will improve customer service by providing single-window access to government transactions and simplifying online registration.

The revised fees are as follows:

  • for incorporation, amalgamation or restoration of a company
 $350
  • for registration, amalgamation or restoration of an extraprovincial company or a limited liability company
 $350
  • for continuation into British Columbia or continuation out of British Columbia
 $350
  • for registration of a partnership or proprietorship and change of business name or membership under the Partnership Act
 $40
