Site Registry

THIS GROWING DATABASE allows you to view information retained by the provincial government on the environmental condition of land. It is not a registry of contaminated sites, although some sites on the registry are contaminated. Most sites have already been investigated and require minor remediation, or have already been cleaned up to government requirements.

To minimize potential liability, the Site Registry should be used by accountants, architects, lawyers, real estate agents, environmental consultants, and any other professionals involved in land transactions, as a routine part of due diligence searches.
